I am currently running Pro Tools 7.0 LE on my new mac pro. On occasion I might want to go out of state and record music. I can't afford a mac book, but can I load a PC with Pro-tools, record and then transfer the files to my main music recorder mac pro.

yes, i belive (off to the top of my head) that there is a setting you can do when you first open the session to record in a format recognizable by both mac and PC.

or you can burn a session with all the audio files and the protool session, and open it up in a windows pc. That's how a friend of mine does it.
