Using 150 Watt DC to AC power inverter with MagSafe AC Adapter...

I just got a call from my Dad and he wants to charge my Mac on the road but he can't find a standard car lighter adapter for it. Before I go ahead and tell him to get a power inverter to plug the MagSafe adapter into I want to make sure it won't damage my MacBook. The inverter is rated up to 150 Watts and the MagSafe is only 65 Watts if I'm not mistaken, so it should be plenty. Anyone know if it will damage my Mac?

BTW, a DC to AC power inverter is a thing you plug into your car lighter and it turns the power into AC and has a standard electrical outlet to plug into.

I asked a similar question before and lots of people recommended it as a good way to charge your laptop whilst on the road so i cant see why not!

Apple sells a Kensington 120W power inverter for this very purpose, so I'd say you were safe with the model you found.

(and 20 minutes isn't that long to wait for an answer, is it?)

No it isn't, my thread got knocked down a few slots by that Spam message though, so I needed to post something to attract attention to it. I didn't mean to sound impatient.
