Will a g4 Motherboard work in my g3?

Your Mac's Specs
Power Mac B&W 400 Mhz
I have a extra complete G3 400 power mac, it needs a new motherboard. Can I use a G4 motherboard out of a newer system? Will it work with the rest of the parts inside the g3?

What kinda of G4 is it? If it was a PCI "Yikes" G4 then I think everything will work. If not, everything will work with the G4 other than the processor.
Although I am not sure about the Power Supply. The PSU will only be compatible if the G4 comes out of a sawtooth or Yikes G4.
