Cant install Windows Media Player 9 OS

Hi
I downloaded the installation file, .bin and i use stufflt expander to..
but it stopped at "preparing"，could you please tell me why?

also, are you sure you got a good download?

and, you may want to try flip4mac first. there's really no need to dl wmp for macs. it's a very basic player and it's duties can be handled easily by quicktime with the flip4mac plugin.

exactly right. Flip4mac is far better than the mac version of WMP. Besides, I have a feeling that M$ has discontinued support for the mac version of WMP, so that's another reason to trash it for Flip4mac.

Sorry about that. My OS is 10.4.8 Macbook 700.
I downloaded from official website.
I need it because of some particular reasons, i cant make my expression due to my poor English. But let me try.
I paid for some tv programs from the net, those files need authorizations (username&password). So i dont know if there is any software can do that.
