Streamlining my Mac...

Here's a (hopefully) simple question. I have a PBG4 with OS 10.4.8; it's used for my home stuff AND all my music/audio recording.

Is there a way that I can create more than one profile (sure there is!) and streamline each one to optimize the machine/OSX for each application...almost like super-charging it for the music side of things?

Thoughts?

by profile do u mean user? because if u want another user, go into the accounts preferences, press the plus button and add another account!
