I use my MacBook at college where I have to have a static IP, gateway, dns and proxies, but when I come home I have to change eveything back manually to dhcp, then back again for the next day. Is there anything where I can set up profiles and just tell it I'm at college or home and it'll set it up for me?

This is purely based on windows xp experience, but I would assume a Mac has something similar.

I'm not sure where it would be located, but you probably have a wireless control panel somewhere. I would take a guess that there is an option to create a new profile somewhere in there. Hunt around, I'm sure it's somewhere in your wireless control panel. I'd be very surprised if Mac's did not offer wireless profiles like windows xp does.

Yes it does. Most wireless cards come with their own managing software as well.

Maybe someone who actually owns a Mac can tell you where this feature is located. I would try looking around your networking options; I'm sure it's somewhere in there.
