I apologize if I am posting to the wrong group. If so, please advise the correct posting.
I am experiencing a reoccurring and annoying problem with my monitor. It will just go dim, and only display with a restart. I am using a Sony G200 on a Mac G4 1.25 dual. I have a Radeon 9800 Mac Edition card, and maxed out the memory allocation for this Mac.
I installed the latest ATI driver and control panel for the video card. I have removed the card and cleaned the contacts. I have set Energy saver to all sorts of different setting. It is currently set at "never" for all settings.
can anyone suggest to me what I might look at now, or suggest a remedy.
