Toast only burns empty folders?

Whenever i try to burn a VCD or DVD image, or i guess an image of any kind, Toast only burns empty folders onto the disk. What in tarnation is happening?

Are you getting any errors? Which version of Toast are you using?

What are the steps you're following? With Toast 7, you just drag the image to the app window and click the big red button.

Yep that's the version i have, toast 7 titanium, and that's what i'm doing, dragging and dropping it. I don't get it, it's so weird and annoying. Countless blank CDs wasted!

EDIT: and no, i don't get any errors, it acts like it successfully burned a cd

TOAST is the best IMO... What are you "dragging" into Toast?? Are they TS_Folders?? Are they .Avi's???? .mov??? When you drop them does it show the clips/chapters?

No way

Toast is ok but I prefer NTI Dragon Burn. Never had an error with it. Supports all formats. You may find it on ISOhunt or you may find it on the newsgroups. Or you can buy it. Not sure if there is a trial run or not. Good Luck. By the way, what file system format id yout version of Toast using? Sometimes you can burn cds in toast to an unsupported file format that is readable by other OS's but not actually in Mac. Should be in your settings somewhere. Can you burn anything else successfully to disc?

When i drag and drop the cue file it doesn't show chapters, the burn button turns red and looks ready to burn.

How can i find the file system format id of my Toast version? Do you mean i'm burning something for PC instead of mac?

Maybe these images only like windows and that's why. Audio cds and data cds burn fine, i am just not able to burn Vcds or images.

I will probably just resort to Dragon Burn.

Have you "checked" the "DVD-Video" in the slide tray?

It was a VCD that i was trying to burn yesterday, so no. But i will try to burn a dvd image and select that, and see if it works, thank you!
