Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted and I know leopard is coming up sometime (hopefully) this year. I am still using Panther and was wondering if it's worthwhile to upgrade to tiger. My only concern is if it will slow down my computer and if the widgets will tax my ram as I currently have 768mb. Is it worthwhile performance wise to upgrade or should i just wait till i get a new machine with leopard?

If everything is working well for you now, there is no need to upgrade.

I had the same iBook as you. I put tiger on it shortly after it came out. It ran without too many problems, but it was a little slower than Panther was. I'd recommend staying with Panther for now.
