Does anyone out there have any methods to unprotect m4p itunes files? I know jhymm used to exist for this issue, but is no longer developed. I'd heard a few wacky schemes like using audio hijack, and recording directly from your soundcard, but that's not very fun, and im skeptical about the quality. Likewise, I figure i could burn any of these cds and then rip them. Again, something I'm not looking into unless i have to.

I know the outlook is bleak here -- if so... oh well. I won't cry.

Thanks.

As I said, let the drama begin.

Perhaps it is illegal, I don't really know (nor care). It's for my own personal use, which maybe isn't illegal. I'm probably doing any number of illegal things right now anyway, though.

But, thanks for getting that post out of the way.

it may not matter to you, i'm guessing since you're new, being escorted out of the place by a mod won't matter to you much either.

no drama necessary.

Why exactly can't DRM/m4p files be played at two places at once? I mean, if you purchased the song, shouldn't it be yours and allow you to listen to it where you want? I'm not saying to share the songs with millions of people, but just for personal use. Just a curious mind wondering people's opinion or facts behind my question.
