slideshow with music

Here is what i want to do
loop a slide show with 10 minutes of slides to loop continously through 1 hours of music.
I prefer to do it with the "book" slide show, as it is prettier.
This is where I make a book, to buy, don't buy it, but send it to iDVD.

I tried iPhoto, but I have two choices it would seem

Play the slides for 3 seconds each, and when they are done the loop and the music all start over.

or play the slides to last the duration of the music, but then if someone misses their picture they miss it.
