Where do you work? Home based telecommuter? At a traditional brick n mortar office? Perhaps you are a student? Some other?

Home office for me, though I'm on travel, meeting with customers, and/or at the range pretty regularly as part of my job.

Currently a contractor - I feel like a gun for hire or something - I get a call and sometimes as little as 90 mins later I'm at the clients site - other times I might get a few days notice.

Currently no permanent place of work - I want this to change soon.

Ah, me too. I am home based except when I am traveling on business, which is a LOT!

work at a data center with thousands of servers.

it's hard to swap hard drives or other stuff while telecommuting.

the place is also run 24/7/365.25

I was starting to conclude that LOTS of us were home based. I guess not! After 14 votes, we (all two of us!) are in a DISTINCT minority!!
