Which is the best way for me to connect to my office G5 from home on my PBook, VPN or SSH? I'm currently using VPN through Internet Connect which seems very unstable and slow, it often crashes my computer after making a successful connection with the Beach Ball of Death going round until I restart.
Once I have made a connection I'm using Apple Remote Desktop but this is pot luck as to whether my work G5 is offline or not. Even when I leave it logged in and disable sleep functions I'm told it is offline. It has worked and I haven't changed any settings but it is becoming VERY frustrating.
