Is there any possible way to still download Internet Explorer for Macs? If you have a link, can you kindly post it here or send it to me?

There are so many other browsers available. You wouldn't miss IE.

I found IE here, and downloaded it to make sure the link works. Scroll down the page to find it.

Keep in mind that it's very old so it doesn't offer anything in the way of updates, including patches to fix security holes.

IE sucks. Don't waste your time with it. Just use Safari. It pwns IE.

Does even this older version of IE support the infamous Active X controls? Some web sites just plain need 'em, which means you can't view them using anything else...

...of course I understand that these same controls are frequently exploited by virus' etc.., so being able to access them is a mixed blessing.

OS X is never short of good browsers. Out of all the available, IE is probably the worst. Avoid it if possible.

Thanks Brown_Study. In that case, I see no value in such an old IE for Mac anyway!!!

That program was garbage from day one.

M$ stopped supporting that mess for Mac over 2 years ago. Thank God for small favors.
