new to macs/need help

hi,iam a new mac user coming over from using pc all my life.i just recently bought a powerbook g3 333mhz off ebay,and would like to install mac os x on there.i purchased the install cds,and when i start too install it the program tells me i cant.does anyone know why?the only thing i could see that might be a problem is that there is no firewire port.let me know if its possible to install it.thanks

Where did you buy the installation CDs? What version are they?
