• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hello, I have a 13.3 inch Macbook. All I want is for me to be able to connect a cable from the laptop to the television(whether it's S-Video or with the red-white-yellow cables) and it will display what's on the screen. What products do this?

Thanks!

Unless someone else provides you with the exact cable needed, I would find out what connections the MacBook have and the same for your TV. Then I would just ring or visit your nearest AppleStore or ring them, whichever is easier, tell them the connections you need at each end of the cable and ask if they stock them.

Then you will either be able to buy it from them or you might get the name of the cable and be better off than you are now.
