sorry i havent been on here for a couple of days.... im still working on the project, but the top lid should sit flush with the bottom case once i make a mold for the bottom case. I cant overlay the bottom case because i cant figure out a way to take the battery screw out. so i will make a carbon piece that fits over the bottom case. I will def post pics of the finish product when im done with it.... my next one will be in black carbon fiber... once im done i'm going to sell these for basically pretty cheap (at the cost of how much it cost me to make them, so probably 50-75 bucks + cost of the original covers that i bought off ebay) there will only be one of each. silver and black CF. im just doing these covers for fun, as my real intentions are towards doing this to some of my car parts.... plus i wanted to have the first REAL CF mac book cover....
