I have an HP Photosmart C1300 (i think thats it) and its plugged into my airport express. All three macs can print to it just fine, but when i want to scan something into the computer, it does nothing. When i plug the printer into my imac instead of the airport, i can scan just fine to it. Is it impossible to scan wirelessly or is there something im doing wrong?

Pretty much impossible. There is no way to scan wirelessly. I had the same problem a while back and still havent found a solution.

My HP scans wirelessly with my MBP... just used the HP setup wizard and all is fine so I would say it is something you are doing wrong - I don't know what tho!

It's my understanding that airport express ONLY supports wireless printing. The USB port will not support ANY other USB activity.

HPC4390 will not scan

I have HP4390, it scans neither from USB nor wirelessly. Can someone walk me through the steps to make it work?
