resurecting my old G3

Your Mac's Specs
800 mhz iBook G4- 12"
got an old powermac G3...no usb, but does have eternet. It is running the old os 8.1,,,,what is the max os upgrade i can give this G3?

I believe it can run OS X, but not very fast.

The beige G3 is listed as compatible with OS 8 through 9.2.2. As I remember, OS X in any version wants built-in USB before it will install. Also, OS 9 wants a lot more RAM that 8.X so you might want to check that out before you upgrade.
