iColours

ok...so i got this sweet little thing from iColours.ca , and i still havent put it on my macbook. It is a little peice of clearish plastic with the classic apple colors on it, and it is designed to go in between the display and the plastic apple on the front, so the apple glows classic colors instead of white. The website gives clear instructions, and it seems easy enough. I have patiently waited for 2 months now for my 90 day warranty to expire (cuz the installation of icolours voids ur warranty), and in another month i think i will finally put my icolour to use. Im a little scared though, so i wanted to know what u guys have to say on the matter. Is there a high risk of screwing up my mac? has anybody else done this before? give me ur advice, thanks

Your warranty lasts 1 year, not 90 days. Its 90 days of phone support.

wat about after the warranty...is the risk of damaging something high?

You probably won't damage anything but it will still viod the warranty, like you said. I have a blue sticker over my logo that you can get here: click

It's not too bad and you get to keep the warranty...

i would just put the sticker on... i don.t think i would take apart the screen just to change the color of the apple. i certainly wouldn't do it if it voids the warranty.
