Hello all,

I am a new switcher, been into WinPC for a long time. I am a Computer Science guy with tons of experience in building my own computers and such. I see I have a lot of reading and hopefully very little adjusting to do.

I actually just won a bid for a 2-week old MBP 15" at a fairly decent price on the 16th. I don't usually ask very many questions, but it looks as if I found a good place to do that if need be.

Quite aside from questions, you have also found a great learning resource! Just reading these forums will introduce you to a huge variety of Mac related topics that will quickly move you from "Mac beginner" to "experienced Mac user".
