I've recently installed OS 10.4.8 over OS 10.3. I need to create some space on my eMacs main volume and the Previous System folder is 3.13GB in size (over 10% of total volume size). Can I simply trash the Previous System folder or should I move it to my 200GB external drive? If I move it to my external drive and it is needed by some file or application, will it still operate as if it were still on my eMacs drive? Many Thanks, Dave

you can trash it, just go through it and make sure there are no programs or things you need. Ive done an archive and install twice and both times deleted the previous system folder and had zero problems.
