• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I'm having the same issue.

I tried to save as a disc image and it ran til the end, then had some error. Now it won't open at all. In the dock it has the arrow under it but right clicking says "App Not Responding". It also shows up on the menu bar. I restarted the mac, did a repair of disc permissions in disc utility (not even sure what that does but it usually takes care of problems).

Any ideas?

EDIT- I opened a different project and it opened fine. So I went to File>Open Recent and tried to open the original project and iDVD froze, so I guess its an issue with the project file. So at least iDVD works, but its still a pain that I have to re-do the original project. What would cause a file to no longer be able to be opened?
