@RIDE: The Usual Suspects is so highly rated on IMDB etc., but I kind of found it predictable rather than what you probably found it :)

The more I watch it.. the more predictable it is to me... :D
Really, I enjoy the storyline and some of the small details, and really enjoy Kevin Spacey as an Actor.

The other movie I listed was The Big Lebowski.. The first time I saw this, I wondered if my sister-in-law (She recommended the film to me) was mildly-retarded.... I saw it a second time (against my will), I really started to like it.... now it has become one of my all-time favorite movies... Simply Hilarious.

This is a tough one. But if I really had to limit myself (I'm really into weird movies so I wouldn't be surprised if you never heard of any of them),

(in no particular order)

1. Bloody Sunday by Paul Greengrass
2. Elephant by Gus Van Sant
3. Suicide Club (a crazy Japanese film)
4. The Thin Red Line by Terrance Malick
5. Rize by David LaChappelle

Honorable Mentions:
Three Kings
Shaun of the Dead
Bubba ** Tep
The Exorcist
