The Science of Sleep is out there, but if you're kindof out there too, it'll make sense.

Eric, how did you like Pan's Labyrinth?

d'oh!

we didn't go!

my mother in law was sick that night, so we took the boy out with us. still a fun night. went to dinner and to an old repurposed train station in st. paul. it has a huge room with a really amazingly detailed model train setup with hills and tunnels, and lots of models and such. my boy got a huge kick out of it!

i still want to see the movie though!

If you should get the chance, well worth it. Definitely a good call on not taking the wee one to see it with you. A bit too graphic for the kiddies. ;)

i'm almost worried more about the volume. the theatres around here are just so LOUD!

i probably wouldn't bring him to see something like that for some time, but funny thing is he likes things like snakes and rats and bugs and such, so he's not very squeemish - unless he gets dirt on his hands, and then he turns a little OCD.

I wash my hands at least 20 times a day. And now that I'm finally teaching dance, I wear white gloves with my students. So I feel him there...

Ohh! I had completely forgotten to put on my list Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and American History X. Both outstanding movies.

I also really dig Tim Burton movies and hmm forgot to put some in my list! Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, etc.

Re: Reservoir Dogs ... I had a number of people who know me quite well recommend that movie, so I went out and bought the DVD. I'm sorry, I just don't get it. I think Little Mermaid was more interesting ... and more realistic.

Then again, I'm the only person I know who hated Pulp Fiction, too.

I loved Pulp Fiction and Reservior Dogs, in fact, I like most of Tarantino's movies. I didn't like Sin City though.
