Problems with Programs

OK well now I have a new problem that I am curious to see if anyone knows....


occasionally I have a problem that I guess doesnt close correctly, The most recent was my Divx player. I hit ctrl Q to close it then I went to relaunch in about 30 minutes later and it will not launch. This happens every once and a while and usually restarting the computer helps.

Any reason as to why or is there another way to fix through terminal or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

No clue. Sorry man.

I would try the following.

1) Repair Disk Permissions using Disk Utility
2) Clean cache and temp items using Onyx

If both don't help,
3) Remove DivX player and all the related files (including preferences) and re-install.

Trashing the .plst file for the application will clear that up.
