I have a question again. I have a powerbook with OS X on it and a MacPro desktop. The laptop will be more used when I am picking up and going from palce to placee maybe once a month and the desktop is the main machine.

The laptop was synched when installing OS X the initial time through firewire. My question is, is there a way to do it again later on? I tried looking into iSynch, but doesn't seem to be the thing I can use.

Any tips?

Depending on what you want to sync, .Mac works well in this manner.

Not apps, just mail, contacts, calendars and bookmarks.

.Mac is the right answer here.
