HDD size

Hey i need an answer if anyones got it

Question: What is the aprox size of a HDD on an 80 GB drive with only mac osx installed. Basically if you get an 80 GB disk and install only mac osx how much do you hard drive space do you have?

OS X takes up around 10-20GB depending on what you install with it.

You will have about 60GB left over if I remember correctly. Why do you ask?

If you need more order a bigger one or get an external.

As StretchR mentioned very close to 20Gb, I think its actually 18Gb.

I bought my MBP with the standard 120G HDD. The computer arrived with about 95G free. OS X (including almost 3G of language files), iLife, iWorks trial, Microsoft Office 2004 trial, etc., all takes up a fair bit of space.
