I have a Mac-formatted iPod. Since my PowerBook is in the shop, I have to use the PC i built. I built it fairly recently, and it doesn't have my music.

I want to be able to transfer my music to my PC.

If its Mac formatted you probably can't read the iPod without reformatting it.

I would download YamiPod (click on link) on your PC for the transferring of music from iPod to PC.

Definately, as StretchR pointed out, you can't access a Mac formatted iPod on a PC - but I'm thinking if you connect the iPod to your PC that maybe YamiPod will act as a go-between ... because you'll be bypassing iTunes so it might be possible to transfer the contents of the iPod over to your PC ...

I would at least give it a go ... then just reformat if it doesn't work ... you'll lose all the stuff on the iPod, that's the only drawback.
