Here's a picture I took of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh (It's an extinct volcano which over-looks the city).

I'm a complete novice, so any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!

It was taken the first week in February with a Sony Cybershot T10 (my Christmas present!)

Is that comment based on my post before or after I remembered to add the photo?:)

That's a fantastic pic. When you view it at full resolution, is it you (the photographer) that is reflecting in the horse's eye? I've had that problem taking similar type pics in the past.

Great photo. I like to know why ToddG thinks it is washed out. I see plenty of contrast and details.

That would be cool, he is under strict instruction to play for either the Sabres or any team in Canada.

Well... we're only supposed to be post one picture so, here's one of a series of photos I took of a sunset.

(outdated link removed)

Yes.. I know it's blurry. First, I don't have a tripod :( ... but, I don't mind the blurriness and gives a certain feel to it. The photo as well as the ones linked to are untouched and straight from the camera.

ps: that's a star... not a spec on my lens.

here are links to some others:

Jonnyfive, i really like that.

nice to see something that's got really strong content as well as technical strength. well done!

i'd consider framing that and putting it on the wall in my living room.

Good shot. I've got old shots of my wrestling days and for some reason always liked the B&W shots I got from the newspapers best.

I had to cover an Olympics qualifying event for wrestling.

I like this shot a lot
