Re-installed my First Mac OSX ...wow.... read for instructions...VERY HARD!

1) Install disk one with computer on and you logged in

2) Click on 'Install MAC OX and Extra' icon

3) It will reboot the computer

4) Follow the 3 or 4 prompts

5) Let everything run....then when asked, insert disk 2....

6) Thats all....

LOL It doesn't even tell you to eject the disk and reboot. It ejects the disk and reboots itself.

Funny...very hard...

Lol, that sounds really easy and makes it better since you can just walk away and come back and it's all installed.

Can you go over Step 1 in more detail? I'm very confused. This whole process seems far too complicated. I actually have to insert the disk myself?

You mean you don't have to install SATA drivers half way through or supervise 4 reboots?

lol, i just reformated my ibook to give to mygirlfriend a few weeks ago and i was utterly amazed at the ease of installing OS X, it really surprised me being that I only switched a couple months ago(in may).
