Hi,

I'm running os 10.4 on a iMac---I'm trying to add a another monitor to my set up--just an old dell---anyways I have connected the monitor with the adaptor but am unable to make this addition extend my screen rather than mirror it. In the help section of system preferences it says to click on the arrange button in displays but for me that option is non existant. Does anyone know how I might be able to ge this screen to extend my desk top?

Thanks again for any help,

d

There are however attempts by some ppl. to solve this issue using software. The Screen Spanning Doctor is one of the projects.
