I just switched to a mac a week ago (really like it) and I watched the videos on Apple's website, but I don't see to much compelling that seems different from whatever version we're on now. The only really cool thing I saw was the time machine thing.

I'll probably switch just so I can legally install 10.4 on my PowerMac or Cube.

I intend to upgrade, but not likely right away. I'd like to see what really attracts me to it beside Time Machine and Spaces. As appications take advantage of the underlying system I'm sure it will become more interesting.

I'm not sure how I feel about the spaces. I guess it could be useful, but I'm not sure how I feel about the implementation.

I am definitely upgrading, I like the idea of automated back up (time machine) and I also am excited to see what the unannounced features will be.

I probably will be. Dad gets a free copy because he's a member of the ADC, and I'll probably be the only one using it.

leopard!

It's definetly going to be worth upgrading to Leopard. They only announced a few of the new big things. There are still really big new things that Apple just hasn't announced. That's why they are such a cool company, they can keep these things hidden. I'm going to go out and buy Leopard as soon as it comes out. From what I've been told, Leopard is rather glitchy right now, so when it does come out I'd expect a lot of updates.

I definitely will upgrade...it's just me, I like to keep up with anything new unless the cost is prohibitive and in this case it isn't. I'm usually scared about any glitches, but guess I'll just get the fixes as they become available. I'm excited about it!
