All the sites say it will not void your warranty but if you call apple and ask every apple person I have talked to says it will.

But does it enale it to play videos
or do people just have an obsession with putting linux on any old thing

depends on your iPod. I have heard of an iPod Photo being made to run videos, but not on the Nano. You should read the corresponding site thoroughly, they will answer your FAQs.

if you put it on your nano it will play videos.

yeah..

I heard that it will play videos but will no longer play music and to me that seems pretty useless considering the size of the screen on the nano

I guess i will wait until i can afford the 80GB white ipod video then
