Using ibook as external monitor

Hello,
I have a G3 ibook 600 which is on its last legs,but I was wondering if there was any way I could use the screen as an external monitor for my desktop PC?Sorry to mention the PC,but I had one before I tried macs and am just trying to make the best of what I've got1

This is just not possible.
You would be better off parting out the machine or trying to get as much as you can for it as it is.

You can only ouput the display of the laptop. Moreover, it wouldn't make much sense to use a laptop as a monitor. IMHO, you would be better off selling your iBook and maybe putting that money to a macbook, g4 powerbook, or a g4 ibook. Or maybe even buying a LCD monitor???
