Curve Fitting Applications

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a curve fitting application where you can enter data and have a function fit to the data. I would prefer to find an App that is free or inexpensive.

Try looking at the stuff available at the High Performance Computing for Mac page. I have used Octave as a general purpose math tool for a long time (it's almost identical to Matlab in syntax) but I'm not sure about the rest. I'm sure there'll be something close to what you want in there
