I am having a strange issue with the installation of the 802.11n enabler (I'm a relative mac newbie... had my core2duo macbook pro for about a month.)

When I attempt to install the enabler, I get an error at the "Select Destination" screen saying "You cannot install Airport Extreme 802.11n Enabler on this volume. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."

The volume I'm attempting to install on is my primary drive, "Macintosh HD", with over 60 GB free. What exactly are the requirements for the volume other than having enough space free?

Thanks in advance.

You need to install this before installing the 802.11n enabler.
