Front Row Help

For example, if I was making a TV show at Uni, and put the shows onto my machine as MPEG/AVI files etc, how would I then make them appear in the 'TV Shows' section of the 'Movies' section of Front Row?

I would imagine you would need to import the movie to iTunes for that to happen. This is perfectly possible as long as iTunes accepts the format, that is.
