I tried searching for this, so I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed. Is there any way to have private browsing in Safari permanently turned on?

Not according to Apple. It always resets at the end of a session. However, you can get the SafariPlus extension and achieve a similar result - you can configure it to clean up after you each time automatically AND it adds all sorts of great cookie management capabilities.

See: http://web.mac.com/jrc/SafariPlus

IMHO, no Safari user should be without it!

Hmm that sucks. Alright, well I'll give that program a shot. Thanks :)
