Lid Won't Close- Latch Prob.?

When I tried to close the lid of my MBP the other day, I couldn't.
The hooks come out when I try to close it, but they don't catch anything when closed. Anyone hear of a similar problem?
any solution suggestions?

I'd take it to an Apple Store and have them check it out. Mine doesn't do this but the latch is a little sticky on opening. Apple has the laptop right now. It's for a Superdrive issue but they noticed this problem themselves.
