I just bought a Cube, and it has a place for an AirPort card, but I don't know exactly what I need. Are all cards the same? Are there older or newer versions? I really don't know much about Cubes, or AirPort stuff. Any suggestions are welcome.

Theres the older model, usually sells for about $75 on Ebay, which I think is what you need, and the newer Extreme models.

Edit: yep, yours takes the older model. like this one

Thanks for the info. Rep for you.

Just curious, but what is the difference between the old version and Extreme?

The original Airport Extreme was 802.11g and now they are moving on to N

Gotcha. I figured it was something like that, but was hoping that the older version would be Wireless G as well.

Unfortunately not. The original Airport came out in 1999 and G didn't come out until 2003
