Just purchased SuperDuper backup and I love its ease of use.

Am I better off making a straightforward backup of all
my files to my external hard drive....

...or is it better to make a sparse image file to the external drive?

Which will be easier to restore in case of system failure?

Thanks in advance!

What I did when I bought my license and first used it is I entirely cloned my internal hard drive to an external FireWire hard drive. Size was no matter to me as the external is 500 GB.

Now all the subsequent backups I make are only for the new or modified files files, the rest stays put. And I always ask it to make the external bootable, in case of an emergency.

Hope this helps. :girl:
