video output is scrambled looking.

My video output once worked fine. Now it is black and white and wavy. Any way this is not a hardware problem that can be fixed without sending into apple?

My MacBook Pro refurb recently had a similar problem. The video was flickering. It was in color, for all the good that was. I could reboot and it would fix it. Apple replaced some hardware.

I've seen several Powerbooks mentioned lately having some weird video problem. You may want to search this forum to see if someone had any answers.
