i want to re-install OSX

Initially i wanted to use windows xp so i installed bootcamp and started using it, but encoutered a few problems with my new firewire hardware....so i have just decided to scrap bootcamp xp and use OSX ..so what is the procedure for installing OSX now i have bootcamp? do i need to format, do i just follow the instruction after putting the cd in? thanks

MacBook Pro 2.0Ghz(CD)/512/80/128MB VRAM/15"
you should be able to kill the XP partiton and resize your HFS+ partition to the maximum drive size.

You should be able to do this non-destructively

ok well i'v just deleted the partition where xp was installed and i'm hoping that i can erase the whole thing and just have one drive for os x, if not maybe i will have os x on 2 partitions uhhg i hope this works
