Man I'm such a tool....here's another noob question. I've done a search too!

I have a iMovie project that's like 10 gigs. It's taking up a bunch of room on my already limited hard drive.

Question: Once I make my DVD with iDVD can I delete the project (to free up space) and then later at my leisure use iDVD or something else to just burn the DVD over again?

Thanks!

Forget the tool and noob stuff husky123, ask away...How to copy previously-burned DVD-R video discs

This only seems to refer to DVD-R. I can't really say why as I'm not up to speed on all those - + etc DVD formats.
