Trying to decide between these two drives:

I have a NEW Airport Extreme (USB 2.0) obviously, want to use one of the following drives to use with my wife PC laptop and my Mac Book Pro.

OWC Mercury Elite Pro Classic 500 gb (USB 2.0/400FW) External HD

OR

Iomega Black Series 500 gb (USB/esata) External HD
http://www.iomega.com/direct/product...=1169163591537

I realize there is a difference in connectivity ie esata/ USB another difference is a FAN for cooling, OH...........OWC had 2 year warranty!

So what do you all think when using a PC/Mac and Airport extreme

First of all, your links don't work. After some looking, I would go with the Mercury. It looks like a better drive, has FireWire, and has a 2 year warranty. You could get the Iomega with ESATA, but who even has that? Definitely not Mac owners or Airport Extremes, so why pay more money for it? You would basically only be paying for a USB 2.0 drive.

You could also get a Western Digital Mybook in that price range. They look cool and I have heard good things about them too.
