Hi!
I am a new mac pro user and to date I have found installing peripherals to be very easy. Everything I have plugged into my mac has worked perfectly....
...except for my Logitech Pro Cam 4000.
I went to the Logitech website and downloaded the designated
mac os x drivers. I did the installation and rebooted the computer.
Upon plugging in the webcam, nothing happened. I went to iChat
and the camera was not indicated.
I went to the Logitech folder on my hard drive and clicked on the
two icons (quick capture and camera control) but both indicated
that that I needed to activate my camera.
Is there additional software that I need here? I am quite
surprised that the camera wasn't instantly detected by mac.
Also, just to let you know....
I am also using an Eye TV hybrid device in another USB port.
I am stating this as I am unsure if there would be a conflict
between two devices that bring in some sort of TV input.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
