Mac Mini 1.83, iBook G3 800, iMac G3 233, Mac Classic, Apple IIc. And too many PC's to count.
I have SMC_Fan Control, and it works great.

I was just wondering how many RPM's are considered "safe" for more then an hour of use?

Personally I wouldn't use the fan controller at all, it's a desktop computer so you don't have to worry about it on your lap. Just trust Apple's controller, I do on my MBP and I'm fine =]
