Video podcasts download, then immediately get the "!" icon to the left as if the file has been lost - not saved in the right place. People have told me the download servers have been really busy over Xmas - try again... no no. ALL video is lost after download. ALL audio podcasts are fine, transferred to nano.

Is there are difference between the two types which cause the after-download loss? Even if I can't play video podcast on a nano, iTunes should play it, yes? If iTunes detects the nano, will it reject video podcasts? Surely not

Thanks
Mike

Try downloading the podcast through your browser and importing it into iTunes just to see if it works.

Also try getting the rss feed from the podcaster's website and subscribing from the advanced menu in iTunes. I've heard of people having problems subscribing from iTunes.
