Fast Blinking Orange Charger Light

I just bought a second hand PowerBook Aluminium 1.67ghz/512/120gb with bluetooth and all the whistles. However, upon getting home and plugging it in, I get a rapid fast orange light on the charger, and yes, I tried 2 diffrent chargers, they both do the same thing.

Can someone explain a fix for this thing ?
I get no sound, no display, nothing but a blinking orange light on the charger. really fast steadily blinking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

a charger on a power pc? isn't that a tower?

do you just mean the transformer that plugs into the power supply?

Sorry, Meant Powerbook. Read so many articles trying to find the solution.. still no luck..
Yes, the transformer plug blinks orange steadily and very rapid.

Sounds like a dead battery. Have you tried swapping it out with another one?

I even took the battery completly out and same thing
